Junior Achievement volunteers honored
Local Junior Achievement volunteers were honored recently for sharing their professional and personal experience and skills with Spokane students. The Spokane businessmen were chosen from more than 428 volunteers in the Inland Northwest to be Junior Achievement’s Volunteers of the Year.
Tucker Santucci, of Washington Trust Bank, spends his time volunteering in elementary classrooms. Dennis Harmon, of Banner Bank, is a middle school volunteer, and Chuck Lund, of VALIC Financial Advisors, volunteers in the high schools. The three have more than 30 years of experience combined in the classroom for Junior Achievement.
The award is presented to Junior Achievement’s volunteers in recognition of participation and leadership, increasing student resources and/or operational excellence.
