Lost her battle to cancer March 11, 2012, at age 51.

She was surrounded by the love of her family.

Born and raised in Spokane, Debbie graduated from Rogers High School in 1978 where she met her best friend and husband of 33 years, Gary Bray.

Family and friends were really the cornerstone of Debbie’s life and so much of her personal joy came from them.

An active mom, who showered her children with encouragement in school and extracurricular activities, she enjoyed attending all the school activities and sporting events of her children.

Debbie enjoyed painting and was an avid reader.

Trips to the lake to meet friends, camping with the family and memorable trips to places like Hawaii, Canada and Italy created beautiful memories.

Professionally, Debbie worked as a Legal Secretary for Spokane County for 24 years.

She had great passion for her work and tremendous respect for her co-workers, many who were also friends.

She is survived by her loving husband Gary Bray; son, Zachary Bray and daughters Kim (Bray) Posey and Courtney Bray, grandson Braylon Posey; mother Shirley Taylor; stepfather, DeVerne Taylor; stepmother Darlene Jolly and brothers, Craig, Jeff, Steven Jolly and stepbrother Terry Bustamante.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Ronald Gene Jolly and nephew Jeremiah Jolly.

A memorial service will be held at 3:30 pm on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at North Spokane Dance Center, 7424 N. Freya Street in Spokane, WA
