(Age 88)

Mary Cornwell of Medical Lake reunited with her husband in Heaven on March 8th, 2012.

Born in Mason, Illinois in 1923, she was one of ten siblings.

Mary was widowed after 25 wonderful years of marriage to the love of her life, Glen Cornwell.

Mary worked as a beautician for many years.

She traveled the world with her husband while he served in the U. S. Air Force.

Mary loved to garden, cook, sew, quilt and spend time with her family.

Mary was a grandmother to many.

Mary is survived by her two daughters Karen Merrick and Diane Johnson and her husband Keith Johnson; her grandchildren John and Nicole Merrick, Michael and Angie Merrick, Shannon Merrick, Kristen Johnson and Eric Johnson and two great-grandchildren Ewan and Elisabeth Merrick, as well as one brother.

In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Legion Auxiliary or St. John’s Lutheran Church in Medical Lake, Washington.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 12 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Medical Lake followed by a reception in the social hall.

Burial will be at Spokane Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
