Colfax 46, La Conner 38

The Bulldogs went on a 7-0 fourth-quarter run and held on to beat the Braves.

Colfax stymied La Conner in the second half, holding the Braves to 5-of-17 shooting.

Brandon Gfeller had 11 points, eight rebounds and six assists for Colfax, which advanced to Friday’s semifinals.

The Braves, who will play in a loser-out game today, were led by Landy James and Spencer Novak, who scored 12 points apiece.

The Ducks grabbed control in the second quarter and went on to beat the Bulldogs in the first round.

Anthony Heinzman made 8 of 10 free throws and finished with a game-high 19 points for Toutle Lake, which made 18 of 26 free throws overall.

Hayden Fullerton and Garett Turner had 13 points apiece for Dayton, which made just 2 of its 14 3-point attempts.

Toutle Lake will play Colfax in the semifinals today at 7:15 p.m.

Garrett Driver led three players in double figures with 14 points as the Pirates took control in the third quarter and held on to beat the Mules in first-round play.

Adna grabbed 15 offensive rebounds and held a 17-8 advantage in points off turnovers.

Wyatt Parker shot 8 of 14 from the floor and finished with a game-high 19 points for the Mules.

Adna will play in the semifinals today against Northwest Christian.

Three of Adna’s wins entering the tournament came at the expense of Wahkiakum, including one last week in the district semifinals.

Kwinn Hanson scored 19 of his game-high 32 points in the first half and the Crusaders held Raiders big man Ty Egbert in check en route to the win.

Hanson also had 14 rebounds for the Crusaders, who held Egbert to 16 points, six below his season average.

Northwest Christian doubled-teamed Egbert all game, denying him easy buckets.

Reuben Clark added 12 points for the Crusaders.

Northwest Christian will play Adna today at 9 p.m. in the semifinals.
