BROWN, Donald L.
(Age 62)

Of Newport, WA passed away June 22 as a result of Cholangiocarcinoma, a rare cancer of the bile ducts.

He was surrounded by family, friends and the love of Christ.

He was born June 27, 1949 to Wanda (Bradley) and Burton (Lyle) Brown of Redlands, California.

He attended Bel Vista High School in Fair Oaks, CA.

Mr. Brown was married to the love of his life, Muriel, of Citrus Heights, CA in 1977 before moving to Newport, WA in 1979 where he settled in and became a long standing member of the community.
Mr.

Brown spent his early years working hard as a logger, at the saw mill, and running an excavation company before finally settling into the construction business.

In 1992, Mr. Brown opened Quality Steel Buildings, Inc. with his wife Muriel and began to build a well-known business.

Outside of work, Mr. Brown enjoyed jail ministry, evangelism, riding his chopper, playing with the grandkids, scuba diving, and vacationing with his wife, family and friends.

He was a Christ Follower, Husband, Father, Papa, Friend to All and Motorcycle enthusiast
Mr.

Brown courageously fought cancer for 2 months and throughout it all he taught us what being a man of God really means.

He was an amazing Godly man… full of life, humor, passion and love.

If you knew him, you knew what it meant to be loved.

And if you didn’t know the Lord, he was praying hard for you.

He wanted you to have the joy and peace that he had found in Christ.

He was full of faith until the very end and his hearts cry was to save souls and glorify Christ!
Mr.

Brown is survived by his wife Muriel, son Matthew of Cheney, WA and his wife Jamie, son Justin of Spokane, WA and his wife Shanna, his mother Wanda, sister Lynda, brother David and eight grandchildren: Caleb (10), Amelia (9), Silas (7), Macy (5), Titus (4), Eva (3), Karalee Dawn (2) and Jentezen (10 months).
A Celebration of Don’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 30th, 2012 at House of the Lord Church in Oldtown, ID.
