Mary Louise

Mary Louise Beaulaurier passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on May 31, 2012 in Seattle.

She recently celebrated her 90th birthday with friends and family.
Mary was born in Spokane on October 1, 1921, the daughter of Henry J. and Mary S. (Koehmstedt) Lynch.
She received her education in Spokane, graduating from Holy Names Academy and receiving her BA in education from Holy Names College in 1943.

Mary studied the violin and piano and mastered both.

She was first violin in the college orchestra and played with the Yakima Symphony.
Upon graduation, she taught school in the Spokane area until she married Vincent J. Beaulaurier in 1949.

Vincent was finishing law school and in 1950 they moved to Yakima, where Vincent started his law practice.
Mary enjoyed her four children and spent a great deal of time with them.

She later became an active volunteer, giving many hours to St. Elizabeth Hospital and the Washington State Association of Hospital Auxiliaries.

The Diocese of Yakima appointed Mary to a board that combined three Catholic high schools into one, Carroll High School.
Vincent and Mary enjoyed traveling in their motorhome to nearby areas with their grandchildren.

Mary thoroughly enjoyed traveling and saw many countries around the world.
Mary enjoyed playing bridge and golf with friends.

She was a member of Rosalma Club and Young Ladies Institute and Holy Family Catholic Church in Yakima.
Mary saw humor in many things and her friends and family enjoyed her for that.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Victor J., Lawrence H. and Edward T. Lynch.
She is survived by three sons, Tom Beaulaurier of Newcastle, Jim and Lynelle Beaulaurier of Seattle, and Joe and Patty Beaulaurier of Ferndale, and one daughter, Joan Stockton of Kenmore.

She also is survived by ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A vigil and recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at Keith & Keith Funeral Home in Yakima, Washington on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Yakima, Washington on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Remembrances may be made to your favorite charity in Mary’s name.
