Chris was born in Spokane to the late Richard and Margaret O’Neill.

She graduated from Holy Names Academy, attended the University of Puget Sound and earned a nursing degree from Spokane Community College.

Chris worked as a pediatric nurse at the Shriners Hospital in Portland for the last 27 years.

She is survived by her husband Steve; and children Jake and Molly Sweeney.

She will also be missed by her five siblings and their families: Dick O’Neill (Jacqui), Frank O’Neill (Barb), Julie O’Neill Emery (Virgil), Mary O’Neill (Don Ratcliff) and Marnie O’Neill McCoy (Matt).

Remembrances may be made to the to Susan G. Komen Foundation.

A service will be held on August 5th, in Portland, Oregon.
