Was born October 31, 1918, to Arthur and Florence Nesbitt in Spokane and entered into rest January 25, 2012.
May was preceded in death by her loving husband, Vern, in November, 1992.
May and Vern loved to dance.
She also loved to garden and spend time with her family.
May is survived by her daughters, Verna Putman and Donna (Dennis) Schuck; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She will be missed by her family who affectionately called her “Grandma Honey”.
The family would like to thank all of her caregivers at Royal Park Care Center for their loving care, support, and for the bingo games which she loved to play.
Visitation will be held at HAZEN & JAEGER FUNERAL HOME, 1306 N. MONROE ST., SPOKANE , on Friday, February 3, 2012, from 2-8 PM.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 4, at 2 PM at Spokane Memorial Gardens, 5909 S. Cheney-Spokane Rd., Spokane.
