Spokane resident, Bill Kaiserman passed away, an apparent cardiac arrest, on Wednesday, December 28, 2011.
Born in Big Timber, MT, the son of Ewing Clark and Margaret (McKenzie).
Bill graduated from Park County High in Livingston, MT, as an outstanding athlete.
Bill married Helen G. Hansen in Livingston and soon moved to Missoula, where Bill attended the University of Montana on a football scholarship.
From 1954-1956, he was a star running back and co-captain for the Montana Grizzlies.
His number was 47.
After college, Bill had many business interests, including owning the A&W and Chicken Delight drive-ins in Missoula.
Later, Bill remarried and with his wife Andrea (Montang), moved to Spokane, WA, where he raised his step-son Mike and their two sons, David and Steven.
Bill pursued coaching and teaching at Post Falls High School.
Bill worked as a sales representative for various companies.
From a young age, Bill enjoyed fishing and winning casting contests while in high school.
In his later years he was fortunate to travel and enjoy many fishing trips.
Going to Alaska to fish with Lori, her husband Sean, their family and friends was one of his passions in life.
Bill always dreamed of driving to Alaska and finally in 2010 he made the trip up with his good friend Kate.
Bill is survived by his step-sister, Diane (Lovett) of AZ; his children Lori A. Barnett and her husband Sean of Chugiak AK, Jerry C. Kaiserman and wife Molly of Kingston WA, step-son Mike Montang and wife Laurie of Spokane, WA, David Kaiserman and wife Melissa of Spokane, WA, and Steve Kaiserman of Medford, OR.
Bill has 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Bill enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and telling stories of his Montana upbringing.
He will always be remembered for his positive outlook, good charm, dancing abilities and carrying the football for Montana.
There will be no service at this time.
