Wynne sets two records in win

Preston Wynne scored six points late in the second half to help the CC Spokane Sasquatch top the Columbia Basin Hawks 68-63 (7-16, 3-9) in an NWAACC men’s basketball game at Spokane Community College on Saturday .

Wynne finished with 28 points, eight rebounds and six steals and broke two more school records.

Wynne broke the all-time single-season and career scoring records. He has 1,086 points in his two-year career with the Sasquatch (20-4, 9-2).

Brady Bagby had 13 points and Taylor Pettersen added 10 points and 11 rebounds for CCS.

CCS plays at Yakima Valley on Wednesday.
