Lilly Dilley
Our “LORD” received a beautiful new “BUTTERFLY” to “HEAVEN” the morning
of January 30th, 2012.
Lilly Rae Dilley, born April 19, 1933, the 9th child of Lewis and Velma Daugherty, of a family of 10.
A Newport, WA High School graduate, an athlete, and a lifetime love for all sports.
Married the love of her life, Jack Dilley, in 1955 and had a set of twins on February 1st, 1956.
A professional “COOK” at the Skylark Restaurant for 32 years, worked concessions for Playfair, Coliseum/Arena and Spokane Indians Baseball until retirement.
She was the best Sunday School Teacher, choir singer member, and she sang on TV (KXLY) every Sunday morning.
Also a Boy Scout Den Mother for Darrold, later a Pinochle card member, with final touches as a Bingo Caller for Avalon.
The Best “WIFE,” “MOTHER,” “GRANDMOTHER,” “GREAT GMA” and most of all “SISTER!”
She was always giving, singing and laughing.
Preceded in death by husband, Jack, 1989; son-in-law, Robin Wittwer, 2002 (who she loved!)
and her only son, Darrold Dilley, 2011.
Survived by her only daughter, Deborah Wittwer-Murcar, Spokane; brother, Ralph (Agnes) Daugherty, Deer Park, WA; sister, Alberta (Skip) Holt, Spokane; five grandchildren: Michelle (Christopher) Morgan, Post Falls, ID; Byron Wittwer, Liberty Lake, WA; Rachael Edvalson, Darrold Dilley II, and Grant Dilley all of Spokane; 14 great- grandchildren!

Brother and sisters-in-law: Margret Daugherty, Mack (Loretta) Dilley, and June (Lynne) Horne.
A special love to all her nieces, nephews and special friends!
Memorial service to be held Friday, February 10, 2012 at Eagles Lodge, 6410 N. Lidgerwood, at 2pm.
“No Host” reception at “Golden Corral” until 6pm.
A special thank you to all the staff at Avalon for loving and taking care of my “MOM” and the biggest thanks to my “AUNT BERTIE!”
