Obituary: Fluri, Linda Lee


FLURI, Lindalee (Winkler)

Beloved daughter, wife, sister and aunt, died alongside her husband David Fluri on Saturday, August 11th from injuries sustained in an automobile accident the previous day.

She was 56.
Born and raised in Levittown, she resided in Morrisville with her husband Dave.

She was a 1971 graduate of Bishop Conwell and worked in the front office at organizations such as Bell Atlantic and the Neshaminy and Pennsbury School districts.


Linda was a beacon of friendship and love.

Generosity, selflessness and Linda Fluri are synonyms to all who knew her.

She took a genuine and immediate interest in the lives of her loved ones.

To her nieces and nephews “Aunt Linda” was a rock of support, from the big milestones to events deemed inconsequential by others, she was always there for them.
Linda is survived by her parents, Robert P. Winkler and Judy Lee Scalera Winkler; her siblings, Frederick and Carol (Winkler) Ritter Jr., Anthony J. Winkler and Kim Branson, Matthew and Robin Winkler; and her nephews and nieces, Frederick Ritter III and his fiancĂŠ Ashley Zampini, Jeff and Dana Ritter, Jeremy and Derek Winkler, Kylie, Zac, and Christina Winkler, and great nephew Luke Ritter.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend both, Lindalee and David’s viewings, Thursday, August 16th from 6:00-9:00pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd.

Richboro and on Friday, August 17th from 10:00am until their Funeral Mass, 12:00noon at St. John the Evangelist Church, 752 Big Oak Road, Yardley.

Interment for both Lindalee and David will follow at Newtown Cemetery in Newtown.
