Gun control is naive

The persistent naivete of gun control supporters never fails to amaze me. When will they realize that the criminal mind has no respect for locks, fences, the law, common sense or the will of the majority.

Having been robbed, burglarized and shot at, I assure you there is little opportunity for defense when unarmed. You are a victim and probably a statistic.

If a criminal can’t purchase a weapon legally, fully automatic or otherwise, he or she will buy something someone else has stolen or simply steal their own. Even if caught, overcrowded prisons and jails, overworked prosecutors, and liberal justices offer few incentives to behave.

Quit coddling the criminals and shift blame to the perpetrators. Ease up on law-abiding citizens who have the intestinal fortitude to stand against the criminal element while protecting their property and person.

Understand and support the Second Amendment. It may well save your life. As for those who continue to tout the wisdom of civilian disarmament for law-abiding citizens, get your heads out of the sand.
