Tribe opens warehouse

The Kalispel Tribe’s new laundry and storage warehouse will open Sept. 1, said Brandon Haugen, the tribe’s development manager.

The 60,000- square-foot industrial building is at 102 S. Industry Drive in Airway Heights, three-fourths of a mile west of the Northern Quest Resort and Casino. The tribal-owned property covers six acres.

Once completed the facility will provide laundry services for the resort. At present, laundry services are contracted with an area company, Haugen said.

The $5 million building will also provide storage for other tribal business activities, he added.

Garco Construction is the general contractor.

Bagel shop opens in CdA

Brent and Laura Little, of Coeur d’Alene, have opened a bagel shop at U.S. Highway 95 and Ironwood Drive.

New York Bagel Café and Deli, in the Ironwood Shopping Plaza, offers 12 types of bagels daily, nine spreads, breakfast and deli sandwiches, smoothies, coffee drinks, parfaits, salads and bagel pizzas.

The shop is open 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekends.

Brent Little is retired from a career as an electrical engineer and physics teacher at Coeur d’Alene High School. Laura Little is a local and Broadway producer.

Grand opening on South Hill

A grand opening for Centre Court, a new housing development on Spokane’s South Hill, will be held Aug. 11 and 12.

The development is just east of South Havana Street, near East 22nd Avenue.

Centre Court will have 53 home sites in two phases. Thirteen lots are available now, and developer Hayden Homes is building seven homes.

Base prices range from $134,990 to $219,990 for home sizes of 1,031 square feet to 3,198 square feet.
