Sig Karlsson passed away peacefully on July 21, 2012 at home after an extended illness.
Sig was born in Věą„rnamo, Sweden on October 9, 1933 and learned the trade of a mason there before coming to the United States in 1955.
He continued employment as a mason until his retirement.
After retirement Sig enjoyed woodworking as a hobby.
Sig was preceded in death by his wife, Janet M. Karlsson.
He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie White; grandsons, Joshua Palmisano, Zachary Palmisano, and Shawn White; stepsons, Bruce Roberts, Michael Roberts, Dean Roberts and Gregory Roberts.
At Sig’s request, there will not be a formal funeral or memorial service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bonner General Hospice.
