Russell Lee
Russell was born June 21, 1960 in Spokane, WA to Melvin and Marilyn Rees.
Russell went to his higher power on April 7, 2012 in Seattle, WA following complications of an initially successful liver transplant surgery.
He is survived by his mother Marilyn Rees; brother Robert (Bob) Rees; sister Raelyn and husband Jeff Hulquist; niece Hanna Jo Hulquist; nephew Cody Rees; stepchildren Robby and Roni Jo Baca; special friend Roberta (Bobbi) Ellefson; many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Melvin Rees.
Russell attended Garry Jr. High and Rogers High School.
He was trained at an early age in the roofing industry by his father and eventually owned his own roofing business.
For the past 19 years Russell was active in recovery and well loved by his community.
He loved all sports but most of all was a free spirit, traveling thoughout the United States with his loved companion and dog, Buddy.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was a dear and kind soul with a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh.

Memorial service will be held to celebrate Russell’s life, on Friday, April 27, at 11:00 am at the Pines Cemetery Mausoleum, 1402 South Pines Road, Spokane Valley, WA.
A luncheon will immediately follow.
