Obituary: Hoover, Carol Anne
Age 71
Born in Akron, OH on April 24, 1941 to Grace and Ernst Landin Sr. and went to be with the Lord and her family on April 17, 2012.
She graduated from Coventry High School, Class of 1959.
Carol was preceded in death by Shirley Landin, Ernst John Landin, James Landin, daughter Kimberly K. Hoover and her husband of 51 years, Gerald “Mike” V. Hoover.
She is survived by her sons Michael V. Hoover, Eddie J. Hoover and six grandchildren and five great-grand- children.
She is also survived in the heart of her sister Lois Jean Cain of Green Forest, AR.
Carol was a loving wife and devoted mother.
She was a wonderful person to be around and work with, no matter what the task may have been.
As she would say, “there is no I in teamwork”.
Carol loved to do a variety of activities, she was involved in Pond Society, Garden Club, Tops and her greatest passions were Square Dancing followed by Mariners Baseball.
She was supportive, creative and understanding.
She would build positive and fun ways of doing things to make a job not seem like a job at all.
She was someone you could tell your life to with the comfort of knowing it would stay with her.
She was a collector of collections and a people watcher too; she loved to see people smile.
Carol will be missed but never forgotten by all who knew her.
When we think of her it will be with a tear in our eyes, but a smile in our hearts, from your boys,
“We Love You Mom”.
At the family’s request, no services will be held.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
