Suspect identified in Wednesday bank robbery

Spokane police have identified a man they suspect robbed the Chase bank at 5508 N. Division St. on Wednesday. Officers studied the surveillance video of the 4:40 p.m. robbery and developed probable cause to arrest Jerimiah J. Pickup, 21, on suspicion of first-degree robbery, Spokane police said in a news release. The robber entered the bank, told the teller he had a weapon, and demanded money. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. Pickup also is wanted on a bank robbery warrant from Multnomah County, Ore. He was last seen in a gold, 2000s Impala-style sedan with tinted windows.
