Domestic dispute prompts several 911 calls in Liberty Lake
The Liberty Lake Police Department received a flurry of 911 calls at 12:15 p.m. on Nov. 2 reporting that a man had dragged a woman across Appleway Avenue and forced her into a car. The calls continued as some of the witnesses followed the man as he drove east on Appleway, said police Chief Brian Asmus.
The car was pulled over in the 23500 block of East Appleway. The couple are a husband and wife and they had a verbal argument, Asmus said. The wife got out of their car and was walking away when her husband dragged her back to the car, he said. “There are lots of witnesses,” he said.
The man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence assault. He was also charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Asmus said the man didn’t seem to understand why he was being arrested. “His whole thing was, ‘What’s the big deal? This is my wife,’ ” he said.

Seed was interviewed in the Kootenai County Jail, where he is serving time for probation violations, and he reportedly admitted stealing electronics and jewelry and pawning the items, Asmus said. He has been charged with theft, possession of stolen property and trafficking in stolen property.
