Accomplishments: I started swimming lessons when I was 3 years old and now I’m on the Park Pool swim team. I’ve volunteered during swimming lessons and am going to take the lifeguarding course when I turn 15. I’ve played clarinet in the school advanced band for the past two years and have played in the Junior Lilac Parade. I’m on the softball team, made the honor roll and I’ve even received the CMS “Featured Falcon” award for responsibility.

What I consider my greatest accomplishment is what I’ve done and learned being a Girl Scout. I’ve been a Girl Scout since I was 5, beginning as a Daisy. Now, I’m a first-year Cadette. I earned a bronze award last year for heading a school supply drive for Hutton Settlement. I was featured in a Girl Scout Leadership newsletter for my service to others.

Also, I just completed my program aid training over Christmas break, by volunteering 25 hours at the Girl Scout Council and helping out at the Urban Day Camp. Soon, I’ll take my event staff training so I can volunteer at summer camps.

Personal Heroes: My aunts, Diana Williams, Vicki Burrow, Elizabeth Harding, and my mom, Vicki, because they are all good role models and I look up to them and respect them.

Favorite Song(s): Right now I like Thecomputernerd01, with his parodies of songs by Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Kesha – they are hilarious!

Favorite Movie: “Grown Ups”

What I do for fun: Listen to music, watch movies and spend time with my friends.

What’s the best thing about being a kid? Unlimited texting – and having my parents pay for it!

People might be surprised to know: I passed Hunter Education class. I love to hunt with my dad. I’m a certified baby-sitter and I make an awesome batch of brownies!

Goals for the future: Happiness and health, a good education, career and family, so I can be a Girl Scout leader for my daughter like my mom has been for me.
