EWU men host to PLU tonight

Men’s basketball: Eastern Washington University returns to Reese Court tonight to take on NCAA Division III Pacific Lutheran in a nonconference game that tips off at 6.

Eastern (5-5) is coming off Wednesday night’s 60-47 road loss to UCLA in which it shot just 25.9 percent from the field.

The Eagles, who have lost three of their last four games, hope to get well against an undersized PLU team (4-3) that has only one player on its roster taller than 6-foot-6.

EWU beat PLU’s Northwest Conference rival Linfield 104-54 in Cheney on Dec. 8.

The Lutes, who are paced by senior guard Drew Earnest (15.1 ppg), posted a 76-68 road win over Linfield earlier this year.
