Deputies find Moscow hospital CEO dead in vehicle

MOSCOW — The Latah County Sheriff’s office says Gritman Medical Center CEO Jeffrey Martin died in a pickup crash near State Highway 8 in northern Idaho. The sheriff’s office says Martin, who is 47, was expected to return from Elk River to his home in Moscow at about 11 p.m. on Sunday. His family called police when he did not arrive. The Idaho State Police say Martin was westbound when his pickup went off the road for an unknown reason, climbed an embankment and landed in the trees. The vehicle landed on its side and Martin was ejected.
