Support emerging leader

Cathy McMorris Rodgers is a leader emerging onto the national stage. What an opportunity for Eastern Washington!

The congresswoman has been fair and honest in representing Eastern Washington and the United States with honor and dignity, and in calling out injustice. She has done this in a balanced and nonpolarizing way in an effort to protect the American people and their families.

She was calling out the folly of the bailouts of the EU banks before anyone. She is a leader who has been clear in her values and steadfast to those values. Among these are protection of the Constitution and creation of an atmosphere where the government works for the people.

She has earned respect from both Republicans and Democrats in her ability to do all that it takes to keep the government in its place. As Americans, we always ask for leaders who can cross party lines and make unbiased decisions based on the good of the American people; we have one right in front of us, and we should embrace and support her.
