Backyard chickens no worse than dogs

There have been several articles lately about keeping chickens in our city in Spokane Valley.

I don’t think a crowing rooster would be any worse than the barking dogs we have in my neighborhood. I personally would rather have the chickens. At least you can eat a chicken. I don’t see any use for the yapping dogs.

Pass a law if you want but nobody will enforce it any more than they do for the yapping dogs.
