Jon Ness has been hired as CEO of Kootenai Health. He previously served as chief operating officer for Billings Clinic in Billings. He holds a master’s degree from North Dakota State University and has 24 years of related experience.
Hart Capital Management has hired Nathan Brown as an equity analyst. He has previous finance industry experience and holds an accounting degree with a concentration in finance from Gonzaga University.
Dr. Eric Guglielmo has joined Spokane Eye Clinic. He graduated from the University of Nevada School of Medicine, completed his residency in ophthalmology at the Dean McGee Eye Institute at the University of Oklahoma, and completed his fellowship at West Virginia University in vitreo-retinal diseases and surgery. He also holds a master’s degree in education from the University of Georgia.
Garco Construction Inc. of Spokane has hired C. William (Bill) Savitz as director of business development. He previously served as owner and CEO of Garco Building Systems in Airway Heights.
Promotion
Chrissy Miller has been promoted to enrollment manager for the University of Phoenix’s Tri-Cities Learning Center. She previously worked as a senior enrollment adviser for the Spokane campus and has been with university since 2006.
Kudos
The International Legal Technology Association presented David Nevala with a 2010 Distinguished Peer Award for outstanding achievements in supporting open source software. Nevala heads the IT Department for Lukins and Annis P.S. law firm.
Tom Davidson received the 2010 PGA Merchandiser of the Year Award for resort facilities from The PGA of America. Davidson is the PGA director of golf at Circling Raven Golf Club in Worley, Idaho.
The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve organization presented Rosauers’ CEO Jeff Philipps with its “Above and Beyond” Award on behalf of all Rosauers Supermarkets Inc. store managers, for their support of Guard and Reserve military employees.

AmericanWest Bancorporation appointed Joseph Marchese as executive vice president and chief credit officer. He previously served as chief credit officer for Midland States Bancorp and has more than 25 years of lending and commercial banking experience. He is a graduate of Florida International University and attended the Louisiana State University Graduate Banking School.
