Liberty Lake Community Theatre serving up ‘Burger Town’
The Liberty Lake Community Theatre, 1421 Meadowwood Lane, will perform “BurgerTown,” Dec. 2 through Dec. 4 and Dec. 9 through Dec. 11 at 6:30 p.m. Saturday matinees will also be held at 2 p.m.
The musical comedy is a story about shy fry cook Dan O’Reilly who, by accident, invents the hottest new craze in the fast-food world, the Triangle Burger. His invention takes the modest BurgerTown restaurant from its lowly place beneath the tracks of the Fullerton train station to soaring new heights. In the process, O’Reilly experiences, big business, romance, meets up with the bad guys and chases his dreams for a fast-food fortune.
The “BurgerTown” cast includes Kevin Kuecken, as Dan O’Reilly; Michelle Hare, as Jan Sokowski, a waitress and O’Reilly’s girlfriend; Veronica Peck, as “Miss BurgerTown” Patricia Ramone; and Gary Edwards, as Sal Spumoni, the diner’s owner.
Tickets are $10 for adults; $8 for Liberty Lake Community Theatre members; $6 for children age 3 to 12; and children ages 2 and younger are free.
