Gaga: He should get nada
Lady Gaga is firing back at a music producer who claims he launched her career and is suing her for $30.5 million.
Rob Fusari filed the lawsuit last week against his former girlfriend, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, saying she ditched him as her career soared.
He claims they co-wrote songs such as “Paparazzi” and “Beautiful, Dirty, Rich” and that he came up with her stage name and helped get her a record deal.
But Lady Gaga’s lawyer says Fusari and his company violated laws that prohibited them from “acting as employment agents without a license and charging (her) an unlawful fee for their purported services.”
Fusari’s attorney says he was her partner, not an agent, adding: “Rob was no more of an ‘agent’ for her than she is a Roman Catholic nun.”
Tyson harms pigeons?
An animal welfare group wants New York City prosecutors to investigate Mike Tyson’s reality television show about pigeon racing.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals says the Brooklyn-based show, which will air on Animal Planet next year, is cruel to animals and its races could involve illegal gambling.
An Animal Planet spokeswoman insists there will be no wagering, saying the pigeons will be “cherished and respected by their owners.”
The former world heavyweight champion has raised pigeons all his life but is a racing rookie.
