Savanny offers variety of Thai dishes

A new Thai restaurant has opened in Spokane Valley.

Owners Savann and Ny Ratahnahk combined their first names to call their eatery Savanny Food Express. The pair moved to the Inland Northwest from Bellingham about four years ago after they sold a similar style restaurant there.

Both natives of Cambodia, they combined their cooking skills and business experience to open their restaurant earlier this month. It is located in the same building and adjacent to Simply Northwest gift shop along Sprague Avenue.

The menu features more than 75 items along with another 15 lunch selections. Choices feature a variety of meats, seafood and vegetarian dishes.
