POST FALLS – The Jacklin Arts and Cultural Center, 405 N. William St. in Post Falls, is selling tickets to itsValentine’s feature concert, “A Tribute to Judy Garland.”
The Feb. 14 event will feature Ruth Pratt singing the music of Garland. The doors open at 6 p.m. and the concert will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Wild Game Feast tickets available
COEUR D’ALENE – Tickets are still available for the North Idaho College Alumni Association’s 11th annual Wild Game Feast on Jan. 23 in the Ts’elusm Dining Room in NIC’s Edminster Student Union Building, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The event will start with music, a silent auction and appetizers of Swedish-style buffalo meatballs, shrimp canapés, and duck sausage-stuffed mushrooms.
The five-course menu, served at 7 p.m., includes crayfish bisque; a butter leaf lettuce salad; roasted quail stuffed with wild mushroom and rice and served with a chasseur sauce and grilled acorn squash; and a white chocolate mousse tart topped with strawberries, huckleberry syrup and Grand Marnier chocolate sauce for dessert.
Wildlife displays provided by Beth Paragamian of the Idaho Fish and Game Department, Idaho Panhandle National Forest and U.S. Bureau of Land Management will be on display as well as works by local artist and NIC alumna Tyree Kearns.
All proceeds benefit the NIC Alumni Association and scholarships for NIC students.
Tickets are $65 per person or $60 for NIC Alumni Association members. Seating is limited.

Free yoga workshop Jan. 23
POST FALLS – Post Falls Peak Health and Wellness will have a free yoga workshop on Jan. 23 at 11:30 a.m. at Peak of Post Falls, 927 Polston Ave.
The event is part of Yoga Day USA, the national celebration of yoga, to help spread the health and wellness benefits of yoga and was created by Yoga Alliance, the national education and support organization for yoga in the United States.

Group seeks nominations
NORTH IDAHO – American Mothers Inc. of Idaho is accepting nominations for a 2010 Mother of the Year and a 2010 Young Mother Representative from North Idaho.
Mother of the Year nominees should be legally married, age 45 or older, with children by birth or adoption, active members of a religious organization, active in the community, national or international activities and willing to join and participate in American Mothers Inc. goals.
Young Mother nominees should be legally married, have children under 18, be active members of a religious organization and be willing to join and participate in American Mothers Inc.
Applicants are nominated by a church, organization or group. Names must be submitted by the middle of January.
