Declaring war on robot calls

They’ve reached a new low in political campaigning. When is some politician going to introduce a bill to stop robocalling? I am being inundated with automatic calls and am sick and tired of being disturbed at all hours of the day and night with their recorded messages.

I can toss their junk mail. I can overlook their newspaper ads. I can change channels. I can filter out their spam on my computer.

But I can’t stop their interminable phone calls.

In lieu of someone with guts, I guess that my only recourse is to cross off my ballot the name of any candidate, regardless of party, that uses this insidious technique. Unless you are going to start paying my phone bill, get off my phone, stay off my line and leave me alone.
