Chase launches write-in campaign for treasurer

Liberty Lake real estate agent Rob Chase announced Tuesday that he is a write-in candidate for Spokane County treasurer.

Chase needs to get 1 percent of this month’s primary vote to advance to the Nov. 2 general election against previously unopposed incumbent Democrat Skip Chilberg.

Chase is running as a Republican; he ran against Republican U.S. Rep. George Nethercutt as a Libertarian in 2002.

He has a degree in business administration from Eastern Washington University.
