Joy Fahrner has received the Ray Rascko Caregiver of the Year Award from the Alzheimer’s Association Inland Northwest Chapter for outstanding performance. Fahrner works as a caregiver for Spokane Comfort Keepers, an in-home assistance franchise.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Farm Service Agency has awarded Spokane Seed with a 2009 Small Business Contractor of the Year Award for the company’s outstanding work as a supplier of pulse products and for its design and innovation for government contract, feeding and tender programs.
