Jessica Streufert reported Thursday the $1,400 theft of a backpack and compact discs from her 1997 Mitsubishi Montero parked at The Corner Bar, 1628 N. Fourth St.

Ronnie Semko reported Thursday the $400 theft of a television and an undetermined amount of damage to a classroom at Winton Elementary School, 920 W. LaCrosse Ave.

Kootenai County sheriff

Myron Farrar, Post Falls, reported Thursday the $5,150 theft of a wire-feed welder from his home on the 7000 block of E. Greta Avenue.

Jeanne Hall, Post Falls, reported Thursday the $2,170 theft of cash when unauthorized charges were made to her bank account.
