“Alice the Musical” - Presented by the Spokane Children’s Theatre. “Family Fire Safety” Clinics - Hosted by The Home Depot and the American Red Cross in recognition of National Fire Safety Month. Families will learn about the different types of smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms and fire extinguishers and how to use each one. Family Macfest - Activities focus on Chinese Culture. Meet master sumi brush painter Ji Ruoxiao and see the original works she created as illustrations for a new book called “Harmony: Chinese Wisdom for Children and Parents.” Hands-on activities include sumi brush techniques, making paper dragons and lanterns, listening to stories about Chinese culture, watching a demonstration of Tai Chi and even learning some Chinese words.
