Spokane

Curves distributing self-exam kits

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and in celebration all Spokane-area Curves Fitness Clubs for Women are distributing a breast self-examination aid called LIV-AID. The unique product is promoted by Olivia Newton John, herself a breast cancer survivor.

The aid acts as a magnifying glass for your fingers when doing a self exam to more easily detect changes or abnormalities in your breast. Early detection is the key to fighting breast cancer.

Curves hopes to have 1 million LIV-AIDs distributed to women across America by the end of 2008.

Call Curves Northwest at (509) 323-2211 or Curves Northeast at (509) 466-5151 for more information.
