Utah hikers found
GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK, Ariz. – A couple from Utah missing in the Grand Canyon for at least five days have been found alive.
Alan Humphrey, 39, and his wife, Iris Faraklas, 35, were spotted Wednesday by a rescue helicopter in a remote and rugged area of the park about 25 miles west of Grand Canyon Village on the South Rim, park spokeswoman Maureen Oltrogge said.
The couple were credited with staying together and finding shade during the day.
