Lisa Banta reported Friday the $6,000 theft of a laptop computer and software from her vehicle parked at the corner of Sherman Avenue and Fourth Street.

Justine Winn reported Friday the $1,000 theft of a laptop computer from her 1997 Pontiac Grand Am parked at her home on the 1700 block of Northwest Boulevard.

Kootenai County sheriff

Stacy Ogden, Athol, reported Saturday the $297 theft of tools and $400 damage to windows of a 1987 Honda Civic parked at her home on the 29000 block of Sylvan Lane.

Frederick Hammond, Coeur d’Alene, reported Saturday the $375 theft of a speaker box from a 2003 Mitsubishi parked on the 10000 block of N. Government Way in Hayden.

Matthew Buchanan, Hayden, reported Saturday the $2,730 theft of a backpack, clothing, tools, compact discs and medication from his home on the 12000 block of N. Kensington Avenue.

Todd Baker, Hayden, reported Sunday the $1,100 theft of two snowboards and gear from his home on the 1500 block of W. Starling Avenue.

Jill Dearmond-White, Hayden, reported Sunday the $1,500 theft of compact discs from her 12005 Dodge Durango parked on the 1100 block of Heron Avenue in Hayden.
