ID: Wicked Stitch has been around for 15 years and is releasing its eighth album, “Sonic Fury,” at a show tonight.

Style: Metal/punk/rock

Roster: Lead singer Jeff Kenley; lead guitarist and vocalist Craig McQuain; guitarist Brian Holland; bassist and vocalist Jason ‘Durb’ Durbin; and drummer Chad Burk

Unleashing the fury: “Sonic Fury” – like all of Wicked Stitches recordings since 1999 – was recorded by Lee Stoker.

“My goal is to go in every winter and record and release the CD in spring/summer,” Durb said. “I miss the old days when bands used to put out an album per year.”

Songwriting: “I always encourage everyone in the band to (write music and lyrics).” Durb said. “I’ve always envisioned this band as a catalyst for songwriters.”

Live show: “Sometimes it’s unpredictable, between different set lists and never knowing what the singer’s going to climb on,” Durb said.

Next gig: Wicked Stitch releases “Sonic Fury” tonight at 9 p.m. at The Blvd., 333 W. Spokane Falls Blvd., with help from OneFall and 33. Cover is $5 for the 21-and-older show.
