July 26: Geological Tour – Deep Creek Canyon Miocene Age (ages 16 and older), $29. Explore the wonders exposed at Deep Creek Canyon covered in Miocene age (15 million years) lava rock. During this 3-mile hike, see an ancient buried forest, fantastic “pillow” lava formations in the canyon walls, geomorphic and hydrologic sights as giant-block landslides, Devils Top, sinking streams and more.
