Falcons beat RiverHawks
The Kelowna Falcons beat the Spokane RiverHawks 9-5 in the seven-inning first game of a West Coast Collegiate Baseball League doubleheader on Wednesday in Kelowna, British Columbia.
Kelowna (7-9) roughed up Kraig Sitton – scoring six runs – four earned – on nine hits in 32/3 innings against the RiverHawks (6-10) starter.
Andrew Wilding allowed four runs on four hits in six innings of work to earn the victory for Kelowna.

Golf
Clarkston’s Joel Dahmen was 11 strokes off the pace after the second round of the Sahalee Players Championship at the Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Wash.
Dahmen shot a 5-over-par 77, leaving him with a two-round total of 6-over 150.
Trent Whitekiller, a junior from Oklahoma State University, carded a 5-under 67 to grab the lead at 139. First-round leader Andrew Landry of Groves, Texas, fell two shots behind after shooting 73.
The third round was to have been played in the afternoon, but thunderstorms forced play to be suspended.
