Spotlight on Henry Butler

During his career, Dragons senior point guard Butler has started 100 games and has been the leading scorer in 78. This season he is averaging 20.8 points per game, 3.0 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 2.3 steals.
Last week at Wellpinit, Butler had a career-high 35 points and knocked down seven 3-pointers. For his career, Butler has scored 1,719 points.
“He passed Drew Moser as the boys’ all-time leading scorer, and with a few more games he can catch Kari Hutchinson’s school record,” said Dragons coach Ryan Peplinski,
With relatives on the East Coast, Butler is looking at five or six Division III colleges there at which he can continue his career, Peplinski said.
St. George’s won the Panorama 2B League with an 18-2 record and begins its quest for a return to state next week.
