This handsome guy is super-sized everything. He is a big, bouncy, happy guy with an enthusiasm for play that is contagious.

Duke spent most of his days alone in his previous home with little outlet for his energy. He was never taught how to walk nicely on a leash so when he first comes out of his kennel he hits the ground running. Despite his exuberance, Duke is a gentle dog. He carefully takes treat from your hand and is loves to take hugs from men, women and kids of any age.

He loves other dogs.

The shelter volunteers are working on Duke’s leash-training and he needs a family that is willing to put some effort into it also. The loyalty, entertainment and companionship Duke will give you will repay that effort a million times.

Come and meet Duke at the Humane Society of Spokane, 6607 N. Havana St., telephone 467-5235. Duke’s adoption fee is $95 and includes neuter, rabies vaccination, microchip and vet check. The Humane Society is open seven days a week.
