WCC season to tip off

Gonzaga men’s basketball has owned the West Coast Conference the past decade. This season Saint Mary’s may have something to say about that.

“I don’t think there’s any question it’s a two-dog race with Saint Mary’s and Gonzaga,” Pepperdine coach Vance Walberg said. “They’ve definitely been the two elite teams in the preseason.”

Will Gonzaga’s dominance continue? And, is that a good thing for the conference?
