Idaho Senate grants another term to ed board chief
BOISE – The Idaho Senate voted unanimously Monday to confirm the appointment of Milford Terrell to another term on the state Board of Education, where he’s now the president.
“I think there isn’t anyone in this room that does not understand Mr. Terrell’s commitment to kids,” Senate Education Chairman John Goedde, R-Coeur d’Alene, told the Senate.
Sen. Mike Jorgenson, R-Hayden Lake, said Terrell has helped get the board office back on track through recent problems. “Milford Terrell is the man that we need as the president of the state Board of Education,” Jorgenson said. “This is a good man.”
