Colton tops Rosalia to stay unbeaten

Kelsey Moser tossed in a game-high 15 points and Courtney Druffel helped out with 11 points and 10 rebounds to propel the Colton Wildcats (3-0, 2-0) to a 64-38 victory over the visiting Rosalia Spartans (2-2, 0-1) in District 9 North league play on Tuesday.

Katelyn Maley’s 13-point effort led the way for Rosalia.

Panorama League

Cusick 46, St. Michael’s 42: Chelsea Treischel tallied 14 points and eight rebounds and Ashley Keogh came off the bench to score 13 as the Panthers (2-0, 1-0) held off the visiting Warriors (0-2, 0-1). Tina Raynor topped the Warriors, who trailed by 13 at the half, with 10 points.

Non-league

Freeman 71, Deer Park 21: Megan McIntyre scored 24 points and MacKenzie Taylor added a double-double – 19 points, 10 rebounds – to power the Scotties (4-0) to a victory over the visiting Stags (0-2). Morgan Perez topped the Stags with six points.

Cheney 49, Sandpoint 36: Nicole Fox scored 12 on 5-of-9 shooting from the floor to lead the Blackhawks (1-2) to a win over the visiting Bulldogs (0-6). Christina Johnson tossed in 18 points to pace Sandpoint.

Springdale 50, Chewelah 42: Shelbea Rainbolt scored 12 points and Jerika Cummings and Kelsey Fitzgerald chipped in 10 points apiece as the Chargers (3-0) erased a nine-point halftime deficit en route to a 50-42 victory over the visiting Cougars (0-3). Liz Cobb led Chewelah with 13 points, while Bailey Wuesthoff and Ariel Wood each scored 10.

St. John-Endicott 37, Garfield-Palouse 28: Kelly Van Lith and Alyssa Fitzgerald combined to score 17 and the Eagles (4-0) posted a win over the visiting Vikings (3-1). Tianna Woltering paced Gar-Pal with 11 points. The difference came at the free-throw line where the Eagles connected on 13 of 26 tries, while the Vikings hit 4 of 12.

Lake City freshmen 49, Mullan 18: The Timberwolves’ freshman team rolled to a win over the host Tigers (0-7), who were topped by the six points of Nicole Axtman.

Northwest Christian 54, Riverside 49: Bryanna Bailey notched 17 points and 11 rebounds, Jessica Dahm scored 16 and Danne Dami had eight points and eight assists to help the Crusaders (2-1) hold off the visiting Rams (0-2). Peyton McMahon had 12 points to pace the Rams, who led by six at halftime. Sammi Nelson and Joni Nagy each added 10 points for Riverside.

Coeur d’Alene 64, Moses Lake 53: Kama Griffitts had game highs of 28 points and 12 rebounds to power the Vikings (7-0) to a victory over the visiting Chiefs. Whitney Heleker added 11 points and Sadie Simon totaled seven points and six assists for CdA.

Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls) 43, St. George’s 37: Kendra Lahue had 10 points to lead the Eagles (3-0) past the host Dragons (1-2). Lena Leverett-Standal had 15 points and seven rebounds for St. George’s. Lakeside led 25-16 at the half.

Kettle Falls 47, Curlew 32: Dakoda Rogalette had 13 points and Chelsea Brisbois scored 11 to lead the Bulldogs (2-0) past the host Cougars (2-1). Curlew was led by the 12 points of Larissa Miller.

Selkirk 74, L.V. Rogers 29: Maria Villegas tossed in 19 points – 11 in the first quarter – and Sarah Chapman added 18 points and 10 rebounds to propel the Rangers (2-2) past their opponents from British Columbia. Annemarie Cain and Charlee Sharp scored 12 and 10, respectively, for Selkirk.

Kamiah 68, Asotin 37: Shelby Cash poured in 20 points and the Kubs (5-2) rolled to a victory over the host Panthers (0-1). Cheyene Nelson and Zara Reynolds topped Asotin with eight points each.

Soap Lake 67, Wilbur-Creston 31: Samantha Marthini scored 17 and the Eagles used a 39-22 advantage on the boards to pound the host Wildcats (0-3). Kelsey Beaver led W-C with 10 points and seven rebounds.

Lake City 79, Priest River 48: Katie Baker scored 26 – 12 in the third quarter – and hauled in 13 rebounds to power the Timberwolves (5-2) past the visiting Spartans (2-4). Sydney Butler added 14 points, seven assists and six steals and Gina Mitchell scored 16 for LC. Taylor Stewart led PR with 23 points, while Jamie Koch scored 13.

Timberlake 41, Bonners Ferry 39: A rally in the final 40 seconds carried the Tigers (4-1) over the visiting Badgers (4-2) at Spiriti Lake. Kacie Wenstrom’s 3-pointer knotted the score at 39 and Cassie Thompson, who finished with 14 points, scored the winner off a rebound. Erin Hiatt and Ashley Winkelseth each scored 11 to lead BF.

Inchelium 55, Odessa 37: Serena Condon had 17 points and 17 steals to lead the Hornets (2-1) past the visiting Tigers (0-3). Micah Davison and Corrine Kinney paced Odessa with nine points.
