Samuel McPoland reported Sunday the $2,908 theft of two firearms, tools, television, earrings and DVDs from his home on the 3100 block of North Fruitland Lane.

Kootenai County sheriff

Scott Opland, owner of Woodland Construction, reported Monday the $3,115 theft of tools from a utility trailer parked at a work site at 52970 N. Old Highway 95 in Rathdrum.

Eugene Travis, Worley, reported Monday the $476 theft of a paddle boat from Cave Bay Marina near Coeur d’Alene.

Jerry Sutton, foreman for Loy Clark Pipeline, reported Monday the $80,000 theft of a 2008 CAT backhoe from a work site on North state Highway 41 at mile marker 17.5 near Spirit Lake.
