Remains those of missing man

Associated Press

GRAYLAND, Wash. – Authorities say the decaying human remains found beneath a trailer in Grayland apparently are those of a missing resident.

Test results are pending, but Grays Harbor County Undersheriff Rick Scott says the remains seem to be those of 62-year-old Kenneth Hutchison.

Deputies found the remains Tuesday in a package wrapped in plastic beneath Hutchinson’s trailer after he had been reported missing.

Scott says the body apparently was partially dismembered after Hutchinson died.

Deputies are seeking 59-year-old Sherry G. Hamm, who reportedly lived with Hutchison for 30 years. She had recently been convicted of assaulting his brother in neighboring Pacific County and was last seen Sunday night.
