Skillingstad pitches another perfect game

Sam Skillingstad (13-0) threw her second perfect game in as many days as host Shadle Park (13-0) beat Mt. Spokane (7-8) 10-0 in Greater Spokane League action Wednesday.

Skillingstad had 13 strikeouts, three RBIs and a walk-off home run in the fifth.

Her sister, Megan Skillingstad, had a solo home run in the third for the Highlanders and Tressa Predisik went 2 for 2 with an RBI.

Kevin Graham and Jason Hamer each had two goals as Mead (11-1, 8-1) defeated visiting Rogers (1-11, 0-9) 6-1 in a Greater Spokane League match. … Mt. Spokane’s Nick Reilly scored the game-tying goal in the 80th minute and the Wildcats (4-5, 4-5) beat host Shadle Park (2-10, 2-7) 2-1 in a shootout. … T.J. Delmedico, Sam Busby and Joseph Guerrinha all scored for host Central Valley (9-4, 7-2) as it beat Ferris (8-2, 7-2) 3-1. … Andrew Mastronardi scored on a header off a free kick in the 62nd minute to put East Valley (5-6, 5-4) past host University (9-5, 7-2) 1-0.

Colby Lee and Cam Turtle were both double winners for Pullman as it defeated Clarkston and Riverside in a boys double dual at Riverside. Amanda Wilson and Kendra Pittman were double winners for Riverside on the girls’ side as it defeated Clarkston and Pullman.

“Kenny Stuart was a double winner for the Kellogg boys in a double dual at Priest River. Kellogg beat Priest River while Priest River beat St. Maries. On the girls’ side, Lacy Hopkins and Tabitha Clark were each double winners for Priest River as it defeated both Kellogg and St. Maries.
