Only an interception kept Brink from a perfect grade.

Running backs B+

Despite the ball in the air so much, Tardy still had 99 yards.

Receivers A+

The early spectacular catches set the tone for the day.

Offensive line A-

San Diego State threw some wrinkles and the group adjusted.

Defensive line B+

Pressure from outside, jamming gaps inside, only long run hurt.

Linebackers A-

Much more productive than last week against run and pass.

Receivers were still running free too often, but group improved.

Good kickoffs – lots of practice – but short punt could have hurt.
