Associated Press The Spokesman-Review

BELGRADE, Mont. – A 15-year-old Belgrade High School student who was suspended by school officials after they learned he was on the state’s sex-offender registry was found guilty of molesting a girl in Washington.

Columbia County court records show a 5-year-old girl reported that the boy had been molesting her from September 2005 to June 2006.

Court records show he was sentenced to two years of probation and attends sex-offender treatment.

The school board meets next week to decide whether to allow him to return to classes.

Belgrade school officials are looking for alternative schooling for a 19-year-old student who has been expelled after being found on the state’s sex-offender registry.
